Her first single, "Kids," is an upbeat pop dream where Mackenzie leads us through a breathy tale of a romance that begins in childhood. Unsurprisingly, the track brings to mind characteristics of her former band, but it's also completely unique to Mackenzie's new breakout style. "Kids" holds plenty of synthy goodness and spine-tingling vocals, making for a song that'll kick your week off on a very positive note.
