Stephanie Phillips is a London-based arts and culture journalist whose work has been featured in outlets such as Noisey, Bandcamp, and The Quietus. She is also the member of black feminist punk band Big Joanie. Her essays have appeared in non-fiction anthologies such as On Bodies, Women Who Rock, and Under My Thumb: Songs that Hate Women and the Women Who Love Them. She is currently working on a non-fiction book project focusing on the work of Solange Knowles for University of Texas Press.
